Focus Management

Proper focus management ensures users can navigate popovers effectively.

Initial Focus

Control where focus goes when the popover opens.

Focus moves to the first focusable element (or element with autoFocus) when the popover opens, allowing immediate interaction.

Prevent Auto Focus

Disable auto-focus when appropriate.

Use onOpenAutoFocus to prevent automatic focus when the popover content doesn't require immediate interaction.

Focus Restoration

Focus returns to the trigger when the popover closes.

Focus automatically returns to the trigger button when the popover closes, allowing users to continue their workflow.
