ChatPanel, ChatPanelVariant from @prepared911/ui/blocks/chat-panel.
The transcript is one role="log" region named by label, from ChatScroll. No message carries a role or a live region of its own, so a new message is announced once. History loads are quiet (MessageList and ChatScroll).
The composer slot is a sibling of the log, whether it floats or is docked, so typing and sending are not announced as transcript. The floating composer sits over the end of the transcript; the transcript keeps room for it, so the latest message is never covered, and the jump control rises above it.
showAuthor={false} each message keeps its speaker's name as visually hidden text, so a screen reader still hears who is talking. Its time becomes a caption.
Reading order and focus order match the screen: transcript, jump control, floating composer. A docked composer follows the transcript.
Every part is Message, MessageList or ChatScroll, so contrast, forced colors, reduced motion and right-to-left follow their contracts. The fade under a floating composer is decorative and is a system canvas fill under forced colors.
